Russia and India signed an agreement on creating a joint investment fund on the sidelines of the eighth annual summit of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa).
Russia will be represented there by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and India - by the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF).
The deal was signed by RDIF Director General Kirill Dmitriev and Sameer Khare, who oversees multilateral relations at the Indian government’s department for economic issues.
