The explosive was found during a routine check.

An explosive has been found in a freight train carriage at the Chukhlinka railway station in southeast Moscow, the law-enforcement agencies told TASS on Monday.

"The explosive was found in a freight train carriage during a routine check. The train was moved to a side-track for the purposes of security and is now being inspected by specialists," the police said.

There have been no delays in the train schedule over the incident, the police added.
