Trade turnover between Russia and China grows by 0.5%

The volume of trade turnover between Russia and China has increased.

The volume of trade turnover between Russia and China has increased by 0.5% in annual terms to $56.2 billion over the first 10 months of this year, the Chinese General Administration of Customs said in its report released on Tuesday.

According to the administration, Chinese export to Russia grew by 5.9% to $30.1 billion over the same period of time, while import decreased by 5.2% to $26.1 billion.

Trade turnover between Russia and China in 2015 decreased by 27.8% to $64.2 billion. Chinese export to Russia fell by 34.4% last year to $32.9 billion, while import decreased by 19.1% to $31.4 billion.
