Children attend a ceremonial initiation into the Young Pioneer

A boy yawns as he and other children attend a ceremonial initiation into the Young Pioneer Youth group, an organisation created in the Soviet Union for children 10-14 years old. The event took place on Red Square in Moscow on May 19, 2013, when the organisation celebrated its anniversary. Some three thousands pioneers took part in the ceremony.  Source: AFP / East News
