In all Russian cities, love for a tasty and hearty meal is an ineradicable national feature. Many Sochi restaurants are glad to spoil their guests not only with their native Russian dishes, but also with all sorts of delights of the Black Sea cuisine. The traditional European cuisine and universally popular Italian cuisine are also well represented in the restaurants of the Krasnodar Territory. The abundance of choice of seafood and meat delicacies is amazing, but the prices in these places are increasing inexorably before the Olympics, so hurry and visit what in our opinion are the city’s best restaurants.
1. London Bar
Many Sochi residents consider the London Bar to be the best bar: it is open 24 hours a day. Here, even the prices look dignified. Smoking and non-smoking zones separate a large and bright space, and comfortable chairs are not just an element of decor. You can find yourself flipping through the menu’s pages for a long time; there are many dishes available, for any taste. Be sure to try the steak -house menu with it’s selection of burgers and meat. 2. Syndicate Steak House
Immediately after it’s opening, the restaurant interior with a "cowboy" style instantly gained its clients. The Sochi “meat-eaters” appreciated the dishes, grilled in a wood stove to a special recipe with the addition of the brand name wine sauce. A separate page on the menu is dedicated to a choice of burgers; try the "Sicilian" with pesto, basil and a chop of marbled beef on a ciabatta bun. Before leaving, take a look at the restaurant’s confectionery boutique; all the desserts are worth grabbing for home gatherings.

3. La terrazza
A family restaurant with homemade Italian cuisine. The restaurant also offers cooking classes for children and adults, and cooking with delicious desserts. Be sure to try the homemade marmalade and sweets prepared especially by the "La Terrassa" confectioner. Because of the restaurant’s high price policy, there is always a free table, so there is no need to pre-book.

4. Black Magnolia
An evening restaurant in the "Rodina" Grand Hotel is open from 6 pm to midnight and is designed for lovers of nightlife. The interior is designed in an Art Deco style with muted purple tones. Try snails, mussels and other seafood. The wine list deserves special attention.

5. Oblaka Restaurant
An atmosphere of glamour, fun and chic, dancing, great food - these are all the components of the "Oblaka" bar-club restaurant. The restaurant opened recently - in the summer of 2013, taking over from the success of it’s Moscow predecessor, and is located just above the sea. "Oblaka" is not only a restaurant with the Black Sea cuisine, but also a great beach bar with dancing until dawn.

6. Blue Sea Restaurant
All the beauty of the Black Sea Riviera at sunset can be appreciated when dining at the "Blue Sea" restaurant .The chic decor and magnificent views attract Sochi’s most respectable audience - here you can see the officials, businessmen as well as the secular elite. At the heart of the menu is the Mediterranean cuisine and a huge selection of seafood even for the most demanding taste. For example, the "Marine plateau" dish, which consists of snails, oysters, mussels, scallops and shrimp.

Order a king crab, lobster and scallops in the Prichal 1 restaurant while enjoying the magnificent views on the Black Sea. Fresh fish is cooked on the grill right in front of you, and for lovers of deli meats, there is a rich selection of dishes from lamb to light meat salads.

8. Le Chef Restaurant
The simultaneously cozy and elegant interior of the «Le Chef» restaurant is the place for having long feasts. A French chef is in charge of fine dining. For those with a sweet tooth, there is a confectionary boutique with homemade French delicacies, cakes and pastries to order. Here you can simply have lunch, sitting by the fireplace and order snails and foie gras, and also celebrate a memorable event in a secluded and romantic setting.

9. 2200 Restaurant

10. Nautilus Restaurant
The restaurant’s bright and noble interior of the overlooking the sea will appease you and drive away your bad thoughts. The restaurant’s four rooms allow you to select the desired mood. Taste the meat of wild quail or Black Sea oysters. And for the 2014 Olympics, the restaurant has prepared a special "Olympic menu" for its guests, which gathers the national dishes of those cities where the Games had taken place earlier, such as "Frog legs with a French garnish" timed to the 1924 Olympics in Chamonix, France.
