Maria Vladimirovna, Grand Duchess of Russia, told RBTH about celebrating the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty, the historical ties between Britain and Russia, Russians' memories of the Romanovs, as well as how Great Britain will celebrate the UK-Russia Year of Culture.

Maria Vladimirovna Romanova is a great-great-granddaughter in the male-line of Tsar Alexander II of Russia. She claimed to be the head of the Imperial Family of Russia in 1992.
