It's a first in Russian showcase-festival – and the biggest international music conference. It’s a cheeky and loud attempt to make Vladivostok the cultural center in the Pacific region – and to help young Russian music to conquer the big world industry. Three days of summer concerts, lectures and workshops, that will capture the whole city.

WHAT IS IT?
The program of V-ROX is divided into two equally important parts.
First part – is the three-day festival at the different city venues. They will host performances of leading forces of young Russian artists as well as bands from Korea, Japan, China and United States.
V-ROX – is not only a demonstration of achievements of local artists, but also an opportunity for Vladivostok residents and surrounding areas to expand their own musical outlook.
Second part of V-ROX – creative international conference, under which the lectures on music production, touring, management, design, video art, and media in modern music will take place, as well as workshops where everyone willing to bring up their projects to the discussion will have a chance to do so.
Speakers will be industry professionals not only from Russia but also from Australia, China, Korea, Japan and United States.
WHY VLADIVOSTOK?
The city is a unique Russian forpost in the Far East and a European mega polis in the center of Asia. It is the farthest, from the capital, regional center of Russian Federation.
It practically shares borders with 3 major governments of the pacific region, - China, Japan and South Korea. Finally, the city with its own cultural identity that for past twenty years regularly «gives birth» to musicians and artists of national caliber (from «Mumiy Troll» to NRKTK).
