Sergei Gandlevsky's poetry is translated to many languages. An important figure in the Soviet-era literary underground, Gandlevsky was unable to publish in Russia until the fall of the Soviet Union. He has since garnered major literary prizes for several books of poetry and a book of memoirs, including both the Little Booker Prize & the Anti-Booker Prize for his 1996 work, Trepanation of the Skull.
From 1992 to 2007 he was a guest lector in different universities of the U.S. This November we will be on a great tour in the States and Canada.
