On the occasion of the Russia’s Running Day (23d September) the stars of the jogging club Moskva River Runners ran in their favorite Moscow areas and marked their routes on the map of the city. 5 kilometer-long route of each of the runners graphically represents a particular letter, together folding in a phrase WE RUN. With the help of GPS navigation, the participants were able to visualize their message.
Additionally, more than 1 million people took part in the Cross-Country Race of the Nation in Russia on the 23d of September to celebrate Russia’s Running Day. Participants have run routes varying from 2 to 12 kilometers. Both professionals and rookies were allowed to take part.
