Perm-based choir Mlada, a team of professional young singers who have already become winners of several international competitions, is one of the most celebrated cultural acts to come out of the Perm region. Moving beyond the boundaries of traditional choral genre, Mlada is known for its pioneering performances and creative shows. Versatile signing styles, drama and musical elements are their trademark. Their musical repertoire consists of over 300 works, from folk songs and traditional academic choir performances to more modern tunes.

Mlada actively participates in various multicultural projects. In 2012 the band presented Vladimir Martynov's suite show based on Velemir Khlebnikov's  "Сhildren of the Otter" stories in collaboration with the "OPUS POSTH" band and the throat singing group "HUUN HUUR TU".
