Tyumen Region

The oil “capital” of Russia, Tyumen, has repeatedly topped the ranking of the best cities to live in our country. The most unobvious attraction in Tyumen Region is its thermal spas. There are more than 20 hot springs, which are left over from the prehistoric West Siberian Sea.

The ancient city of Tobolsk with its wonderful stone kremlin, the only one in Siberia, is two hours away from Tyumen. By the way, a direct flight connection between Moscow and Tobolsk has been opened recently, so it is quite possible to go there for just a weekend - and, by all means, try some Tobolsk kalach (rolls).
